Positive: Location was primo

Negative: There was a marathon going on in Christchurch the day I was leaving and the hotel was right in the middle of the area blocked for vehicle traffic until 3 PM that afternoon. I had to have an Uber to get me to the airport for my flight early in the afternoon and I was stuck since the Uber could not get to the classic Villa . I felt that Cherie, as the manager should’ve known in advance and been able to tell me where I could go to meet an Uber, but she was clueless . I ended up walking 3 miles in the rain without knowing the city. I probably walked to the wrong way, but a little help from management would’ve been very useful . every guest would’ve been impacted by no traffic coming through.

Summary: Enjoyed the location. Until I didn’t.
